As Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day events are limited this year owing to the pandemic, we are encouraging you to contribute to our online memorial. Please complete a Remembrance Card (just type over the sample text on the card) and email it to heritage@solihull.gov.uk
If you have a photograph of the person that you would be happy for us to add to this site (and that is out of copyright or you own the copyright), please include a copy with your email.
The person you are remembering should have served in the Armed Forces (or auxiliary services) during the First or Second World War or subsequent conflicts. It doesn’t matter if they don’t have a direct connection with Solihull, as long as the person submitting the Remembrance Card lives, works or studies in the Solihull borough.
Some contributions are on display in the Core Library during November but, unfortunately, the building is closed until lockdown restrictions are eased in December.
